Takiyuddin beritahu JPPM mengapa Bersatu tak dilibatkan dalam rundingan

PAS President Takiyuddin Hassan explained to JPPM why Bersatu is not involved in the consultation for the upcoming Negeri Sembilan PRN, citing criticism from Bersatu against PAS as one of the reasons. The New Straits Times reported that Takiyuddin informed JPPM officials that PAS had several reasons for not including Bersatu, including actions that strained their relationship within the PN alliance.

Takiyuddin made these remarks during a recent rally, adding that JPPM questioned Bersatu's involvement in the consultation for four hours. He also clarified that JPPM raised objections to Bersatu's non-involvement during the consultation. Takiyuddin further noted PAS's awareness of the strained relationship between Umno and Bersatu, and Umno's readiness to cooperate with PAS in Negeri Sembilan.

PAS ceased its political cooperation with Bersatu in June and announced plans to explore a different form of political understanding and electoral coordination to face the upcoming elections. Previously, in May, PAS President Hadi Awang announced that PAS would consider cooperation with Bersatu after reviewing each of Bersatu's actions, drawing lessons from the political situation in Negeri Sembilan, Perlis, and other factors, such as PAS's decision to enter certain parties into the PN.
