Samsung Galaxy S26 FE: Release date, price and specs

Samsung will unveil a new Galaxy S26 series device on August 27, 2026, at 9 p.m. Korea Standard Time, which is 1 p.m. in Nigeria. The device is likely to be the Galaxy S26 FE, although the company has not officially named it yet. Leaked benchmarks, regulatory filings, and marketing materials suggest that the phone will focus on camera experiences, AI, and the latest version of One UI.

The phone is expected to be released in the first week of September 2026, with a launch date in Nigeria yet to be confirmed. The price of the Galaxy S26 FE is expected to be higher than the Galaxy S25 FE, with leaks suggesting it may cost €50, €90, and €170 more than its predecessor. However, Samsung has not confirmed any of these numbers.

The base model is expected to have a 128GB storage option, while a 256GB and a 512GB option may also be available. The color options are rumored to be Blueberry, Pistachio, and Graphite. The camera setup is expected to remain the same as the Galaxy S25 FE, with a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP telephoto sensor. However, software upgrades and Galaxy AI may improve the camera experience.

The battery capacity is the same as the Galaxy S25 FE, at 4,900mAh, but the battery life rating has improved, with a 50-hour rating and a higher number of full charge cycles. Compared to the Galaxy S25 FE, there are few visible changes to the Galaxy S26 FE, with the same screen size, camera resolution, battery capacity, and charging speed.
