Junior doctors stage symbolic blindfold protest at KGH as stir enters 13th day

Junior doctors at the King George Hospital in Andhra Pradesh staged a symbolic blindfold protest on the 13th day of their ongoing agitation, tying ribbons over their eyes to draw attention to the government's failure to acknowledge their workload and concerns. The protest by the Andhra Pradesh Junior Doctors’ Association (APJUDA) highlighted the long hours junior doctors are compelled to work and the significant share of healthcare responsibilities they bear, all while remaining unaddressed.

The association pointed out a disparity in stipends between Andhra Pradesh and other states, emphasizing the lack of recognition for the work and challenges faced by junior doctors.
