Lucknow, August 21 saw a significant meeting focused on fostering cooperation between Uttar Pradesh and Japan in the healthcare sector. The UP-Japan Healthcare and Care Economy Partnership sectoral session, held at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, brought together speakers to discuss the potential of combining Uttar Pradesh's young workforce with Japan's advanced technology.
Brajesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister and Healthcare Investment Opportunities leader, emphasized that Uttar Pradesh has become one of the fastest-growing economies in India under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He highlighted the state's improved law and order, expanded infrastructure, and increased investment attractiveness.
Pathak noted that Uttar Pradesh possesses a large pool of trained and skilled human resources, which could meet Japan's growing demand for healthcare professionals. He suggested training young people in the Japanese language and work culture to align with Japanese companies' requirements. Additionally, efforts are underway to develop a Medical Tech Park with nearly 400 acres of land.
