Eight personalities chosen for ‘Karmayogi Award-2026’

Eight distinguished individuals from diverse fields have been selected for the 'Karmayogi Award-2026', a tribute to the late Shantlingappa S. Patil Kadaganchi. The recipients hail from education, social service, literature, art, healthcare, industry, and entrepreneurship sectors. Channaveer Shivacharya, Vilasavati Khuba, A.K. Rameshwar, Fakkiresh Kanavi, Shekar Patil, Sanjeev Gupta, Rahulkumar N. Baldota, and Preetam Mehta all made significant contributions in their respective domains.

Manu Baligar, former president of Kannada Sahitya Parishat, expressed his admiration for these individuals' achievements. The awards ceremony will take place in Kalaburagi on August 23, coinciding with the fourth death anniversary of Shantlingappa Patil. Each award includes a monetary prize of ₹51,000 and a citation.
