During the funeral of his late wife in Kakamega County, Khalwale stated that the study predicted a 68 percent win for the Sifuna-Kalonzo ticket, with President William Ruto receiving only 29 percent.

While Khalwale did not specify the study's source or methodology, he vowed to support Sifuna throughout his political career. As of the report's publication, no independently verified Chinese polling report matches the figures Khalwale presented.
