During the filming of Mahal, Madhubala and Kamal Amrohi found themselves deeply in love. Their bond, however, faced a significant hurdle when Madhubala requested that Kamal leave his wife. Choosing loyalty to his family, Kamal rejected her plea, thinking her request was unreasonable. This disagreement ultimately led to the end of their romantic relationship.
