2027: Group begins grassroots mobilisation for Tinubu in Ondo

The Asiwaju Mandate Group (AMG) has launched a new grassroots initiative in Ondo State, aiming to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election bid for the 2027 general elections. AMG's Director-General, Asiwaju Olumuyiwa Asagunla, emphasized the importance of constant interaction with grassroots communities during a statement released on Friday.

The meetings, held simultaneously across the state's 18 local government areas, brought together AMG members, All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders, former politicians, and stakeholders from various political backgrounds. Asagunla stressed the necessity of continuous engagement to maintain a robust grassroots organization, stating that political mobilization should extend beyond election periods.

The initiative aims to build a structure that can effectively engage different societal segments, including youths, students, and women. AMG seeks to strengthen its outreach efforts as the 2027 election approaches, ensuring the administration's policies and programs reach the public.
