2027: Group begins grassroots mobilisation for Tinubu in Ondo

The Asiwaju Mandate Group (AMG) has launched a new grassroots mobilization effort in Ondo State, with the aim of supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election in the 2027 general elections. The group held simultaneous meetings across the state's 18 local government areas, engaging with members of the All Progressives Congress, former political leaders, and other stakeholders.

AMG Director-General Asiwaju Olumuyiwa Asagunla emphasized the importance of maintaining regular contact with the grassroots, stating that continuous engagement is essential for a strong and effective political organization. He stressed that political mobilization should not be limited to election periods, and that regular interaction with members, stakeholders, and communities is crucial.

Asagunla also noted that the group is working to build a structure capable of engaging different segments of society, including youths, students, and women. With the 2027 election approaching, Asagunla said AMG will intensify its mobilization and engagement activities, seeking to secure Tinubu's re-election by expanding grassroots outreach and communicating the administration's achievements and reforms more effectively across the state.
