JASIN, August 20 - Six individuals, including two children, narrowly escaped injury last night after the vehicle they were traveling in was struck by a fallen tree at KM 24, Kampung Air Panas, Bemban, Melaka. Melaka Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) public relations officer, Deputy Fire Superintendent II Mohd Hafidzatullah Rashid, informed that his team received an emergency call at 9.46 pm and dispatched a team from Jasin Bestari Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) to the scene.
Upon arrival, they discovered a fallen tree had hit a car. However, all occupants of the vehicle were unharmed and were swiftly removed by members of the public before the rescue team's arrival, according to Rashid in a statement today.
