Jealsa gana un 149% más tras facturar 825 millones de euros

Corporación Empresarial Jesús Alonso, the entity that consolidates the accounts of Galician conservancy Jealsa, including brands like Rianxeira and Escuris, reported a net profit of 26.4 million euros in its last fiscal year, which is a 149% increase from the previous year, according to the company's financial statements filed at the Mercantile Registry.

The report reveals that the company had an operating result of 51.8 million euros in 2025, a 7.5% increase, driven by a 5.7% growth in its revenue, which reached 825 million euros. Additionally, the company improved its financial results, shifting from a deficit of 28.7 million euros to a loss of 15.8 million euros, nearly half of the remaining balance.

Jealsa announced its results at the end of July through a press release, disclosing only data on its revenues and investments. Eighty-five percent of the company's business was concentrated in the European market, led by Spain, where it supplies Mercadona, followed by Italy (with the Mare Aperto brand), Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Portugal, and the Netherlands.

Its second market was South America, with Chile and Brazil as primary locations, although the company also sells in the United States, Mexico, Vietnam, Japan, and Venezuela. In total, it has commercial presence in 49 countries. The group was expected to maintain its sustained increase in revenue and a notable improvement in margins and results, according to the company's forecast for 2026.

The document adds that, as of June 25, 2025, the general meeting of shareholders of the dominant society decided to distribute a dividend of 10 million euros from the free reserves. It is the same amount paid to shareholders the previous year. Jealsa is owned by the Alonso Escuría family through Corporación Empresarial Jesús Alonso.
