Premier League gives update on Man City’s 115 charges

Premier League CEO Richard Masters has provided an update regarding the 115 charges against Manchester City. While admitting that the verdict is taking longer than anticipated, Masters emphasized that due process is being adhered to in reviewing the case. He stated, "I can’t pass any real comment or provide anything new today on it," acknowledging the delays and understanding the public's desire for swift resolution.

Masters reiterated that their rules require following the process, leaving only one clear route - to allow the process to reach its natural conclusion. He further explained that the hearing took 12 weeks and, as such, the proceedings have taken longer than expected. City is awaiting a verdict on the alleged financial impropriety charges, some of which allegedly occurred between 2009 and 2018.
