Ready for the new EPL season? Join the Gulf News Fantasy Premier League

Dubai awaits the kickoff of the upcoming Premier League season with excitement, and Gulf News is ensuring fans don't miss out on the fun. To engage its readers, Gulf News has established a bespoke Fantasy Premier League (FPL), exclusively tailored for Gulf News enthusiasts. This innovative game allows participants to assemble a dream team of Premier League players, all within a budget of 100 million, and strategically select a starting lineup and captain for each week.

In this virtual football arena, players accumulate points based on their real-life in-game performances. Goals, assists, clean sheets, and saves are rewarded, while errors like conceding goals or accumulating yellow or red cards can cost precious points. Managers have the flexibility to make transfers throughout the season, competing against millions of players from across the globe in leagues and competitions.

For those unfamiliar with the rules and mechanics, the official Fantasy Premier League website (fantasy.premierleague.com) or the detailed guide (https://www.premierleague.com/en/news/4060363) offers comprehensive information on chips, transfers, and scoring.
