Nedeljkovic joins Rangers from Aston Villa
Kosta Nedeljkovic joins Rangers on a season-long loan from Aston Villa, with the Ibrox club holding a "conditional obligation" to buy the 20-year-old Serbia defender.
Right-back Kosta Nedeljkovic has signed a season-long loan deal with Rangers from Aston Villa. The 20-year-old Serbian defender, who moved to Villa from Red Star Belgrade in 2024, had previously spent two loan spells with RB Leipzig. Known for his athleticism and desire to contribute both defensively and offensively, McInnes highlighted that Nedeljkovic's arrival addresses a lack of depth in the full-back area.
The Ibrox club holds a conditional obligation to purchase the player, and McInnes set his sights on signing a striker to bolster the attack. Nedeljkovic, who made six appearances for RB Leipzig last season due to injuries, expressed his excitement about joining Rangers and his eagerness to help the team achieve success.
