Man sentenced to 10yrs for attempted murder of Wajir police officer

Abdiqani Haji Ibrahim has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for attempting to murder a police officer in Wajir County. According to prosecutors, Ibrahim attacked Emmanuel Juma Khaemba with a Somali sword on 16th June 2025 in Baraza Park, Wajir Township. The assault left Khaemba with a stab wound to his left shoulder.
