Tinubu support group kicks off 2027 campaign with 3,000-man walk

The PBAT Door-To-Door Movement, Southwest, is set to begin its re-election campaign for President Bola Tinubu on Wednesday with a 3,000-man Posterity Walk in Lagos. The event, scheduled for the Lagos Television premises in Agidingbi, Ikeja, aims to rally supporters, stakeholders and residents across the Southwest region ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Awoyinfa Opeoluwa, the Zonal Secretary of the movement, expressed excitement about the campaign, stating that it will demonstrate the group's unwavering support for Tinubu and mobilize voters in the region. The Posterity Walk is intended to symbolize the unity and determination of supporters to ensure the continued success of President Tinubu's administration.

The movement emphasizes the importance of economic growth, good governance, and national unity under Tinubu's leadership. As political activities heat up in anticipation of the 2027 general elections, Tinubu, who was elected in 2023, faces intense scrutiny over his administration's performance and the challenges it has encountered.
