Zelensky Submits Khmara, Sybiha Nominations to Parliament
Presidential submissions naming Yevhenii Khmara as defense minister and Andriy Sybiha as foreign minister have been submitted to Ukraine’s parliament, according to Ukrainian lawmakers. Both officials currently serve as acting heads of their ministries. Parliament is expected to consider the nominations on Wednesday, Aug. 19.
