Kwaku Nkansah PaaNii endorses John Boadu for NPP National Chairman

Kwaku Nkansah PaaNii, a former Managing Director and CEO of PBC Limited, has endorsed John Kwame Boadu for the position of NPP National Chairman. This endorsement comes ahead of the NPP's October 3, 2026 elections. PaaNii, who was a former NPP UK Branch Chairman, stated that his endorsement was based on their nearly 14 years of personal and political association.

He highlighted Boadu's hardworking nature, approachability, strategic thinking, and commitment to the party. PaaNii mentioned their first meeting in Mamprobi, where he was impressed by Boadu's ability to connect with ordinary party members. Their interactions continued over the years, including when Boadu served as National Organiser and Acting General Secretary.

PaaNii praised Boadu's ability to resolve difficult political and organizational challenges without unnecessary delays, citing an incident during an NPP programme in Amsterdam in 2015 where Boadu's calm and strategic intervention helped resolve a difficult situation. He also mentioned Boadu's support during PaaNii's tenure as Managing Director of PBC Limited, describing him as a dependable ally.

While acknowledging Boadu's shortcomings, PaaNii urged party members to consider his broader contributions to the NPP. He emphasized Boadu's experience as National Organiser and Acting General Secretary, which saw the NPP win the 2016 general elections, demonstrating his capacity for electoral victory. PaaNii described Boadu's approachable nature and work ethic as making him suitable for the National Chairmanship.

He urged delegates to support Boadu in the upcoming national elections, expressing confidence that he could help the NPP rebuild and secure victory in the 2028 general elections. The NPP is scheduled to hold its national executive elections on October 3, 2026.
