Michael and Paula Musgrove, the parents of Lindsay Clancy, who is charged with the murder of her three children, have largely avoided the media attention surrounding their daughter over the past three years. The couple resides in a quiet neighborhood in Wallingford, Connecticut, where Lindsay and her sister Allison grew up. John Roarke, a retired firefighter from New Haven, has spoken about the Musgroves, describing them as good, hard-working, middle-class people who took good care of their children.

The community around them is characterized by a tight-knit group of families, as described by Marlene Devaney, who noted that it was a great neighborhood for raising children. The Musgroves have not responded to multiple calls seeking comment on the tragic loss of their grandchildren, who were found dead in January 2023. The property they live in, a 1,849-square-foot home, was built in 1996 and is valued at $438,300.

Lindsay Clancy, a 36-year-old nurse, is currently asserting an insanity defense in relation to the deaths of her three children - Cora, aged 5, Dawson, aged 3, and 8-month-old Callan. The 5-year-old and 3-year-old were strangled with exercise bands. Lindsay's parents have been present at her court hearings but have not made extensive public statements. In February, they expressed their support for their daughter, stating that she is a loving mother who will always be loved by her family.
