HUDCO Organises ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Campaign with Patriotic Fervour

Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO), a Navratna NBFC-IFC under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, launched the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign at India Habitat Centre in New Delhi with great enthusiasm. The nationwide initiative, conducted from August 9 to 17, 2026, was inaugurated by Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs and Power, Manohar Lal.

Sanjay Kulshrestha, Chairman and Managing Director of HUDCO, was joined by Prof. K. G. Suresh, Director of India Habitat Centre, Dr Vibhavari Dhawan, Director General of The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), HUDCO officials, representatives from various organisations, and schoolchildren at the event. The minister urged citizens to participate enthusiastically in the campaign and proudly display the national flag at their homes.

During his address, Lal highlighted that the Tricolour symbolizes India's freedom, unity, identity, dignity, and collective aspirations. He asked the younger generation to comprehend the sacrifices made for India's independence and to uphold the nation's values. Lal further encouraged every citizen to adopt the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign as a personal expression of patriotism.

HUDCO pledged to distribute over 5,000 national flags through its kiosk at India Habitat Centre and regional offices nationwide. The venue was adorned with Tricolour decorations, creating a festive atmosphere. Selfie points based on the national flag theme were also set up to encourage participants to capture and share their patriotic moments.

Children from the Habitat Learning Centre performed a soulful rendition of 'Vande Mataram', adding to the event's energy. The Union Minister then distributed national flags to the children and motivated them to participate in the campaign with pride and enthusiasm. People of various age groups actively engaged in the program, posing for photographs with the national flag.

The celebration concluded as a testament to unity, patriotism, and national pride, leaving participants filled with enthusiasm and pride in their contribution to the nationwide campaign.
