Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan injured on Kabir Khan film set, to undergo knee surgery

Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan will undergo knee surgery after sustaining an injury during a high-stakes action sequence on the set of his upcoming film directed by Kabir Khan, as reported by India Today. The incident took place during the last two days of filming for the untitled project. Prior to the accident, Kartik had been rigorously training with action coaches to prepare for the demanding sequences.

Following the injury, he was promptly taken to hospital and admitted to Fortis Raheja Hospital, where doctors plan to perform surgery on his knee. A subsequent period of rest is anticipated. Kartik, who recently won the Best Actor award at the 72nd National Film Awards for his role in Chandu Champion, is expected to take a brief hiatus from his professional engagements before resuming work on Anurag Basu’s project.

This injury comes at a significant juncture in Kartik's career, following his acclaimed performance in the sports drama that earned him the prestigious national honor.
