2027: Pacify Nigerians, coalition can remove you – Primate Ayodele tells Tinubu

On Tuesday, Primate Elijah Ayodele, Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, cautioned President Bola Tinubu to maintain order among Nigerians before the 2027 general election. According to a statement released by his media adviser, Osho Oluwatosin, Ayodele warned that Nigerians would leverage the election to voice their displeasure and grievances against the government. He cautioned that if Tinubu failed to address the troubles, 2027 could prove challenging for him.

Ayodele alleged that some individuals close to the president were misleading him, primarily interested in his wealth rather than his well-being. He revealed that those who did not secure party tickets would work to undermine Tinubu's chances of winning in 2027. The prophet advised that Atiku Abubakar and other opposition candidates could topple the president from office, stating that the coalition of Atiku and others could remove Tinubu from his position, regardless of his current allies.

Ayodele urged Tinubu not to rely on electoral fraud, warning that such tactics would be resisted by most Nigerians. He cautioned the president to pacify the populace, predicting that some plans to secure victory through illicit means might fail. Ayodele cautioned, "All the plans to rig will be resisted by Nigerians, and mind you, the election is going to be tough.

Don’t expect it to be free and fair. People will show that they are desperate, and people will show they don't want APC. The party needs to pacify Nigerians; otherwise, all the magic will not work."
