They stole Rs 43-lakh diamonds in 15 mins; Gujarat cops seized more from them in 8 hrs

Three individuals, Sapna, 31, her father Bachu Ramu Bhada Sadmiya, and Vina Dheeru Devshi Jiliya, 30, were apprehended for stealing diamonds worth Rs 43.11 lakh. The audacious theft occurred in just 15 minutes, with the trio posing as beggars and successfully leaving with 1,437 carats of precious stones. The daring criminals were later caught in an eight-hour manhunt across Gujarat districts, where they were found carrying an additional 448.75 carats of diamonds, totaling 1,885.75 carats.

The suspects initially denied the heist, but upon closer inspection, the diamonds were recovered from their possession.
