Republic Bank deepens commitment to homeownership with nationwide JoyNews Habitat Fair partnership

Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC has strengthened its dedication to homeownership through a partnership with Multimedia Group Limited to expand the JoyNews Habitat Fair nationwide. The agreement builds upon the Bank's successful collaboration with Luv FM, where it served as the title sponsor of the Habitat Fair in Kumasi. With the new agreement, the Fair will expand to Accra, Kumasi, and Ho, offering greater access to finance for prospective homeowners across the country.

Dr. Benjamin Dzoboku, Managing Director of Republic Bank, emphasized the Bank's commitment to helping Ghanaians achieve homeownership, noting that affordability, household incomes, borrowing costs, and land-related issues are significant barriers to homeownership. Republic Bank has evolved from a home finance company into a full-service commercial bank, providing a range of housing finance solutions and investing in the real estate sector through its Real Estate Investment Fund.

The Bank also partners with the government under the National Housing Scheme to support public sector workers. Dr. Dzoboku encouraged individuals not to abandon their homeownership aspirations, urging them to explore solutions tailored to their specific circumstances with the Bank. The partnership with Multimedia Group represents a long-standing commitment to creating pathways to homeownership through financial solutions, education, and strategic collaborations.
