CENPOWER Operations and Services (CENOPS) has fulfilled a pledge of GH₵233,180.00 to the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly (CCMA) as part of the Eight-Year Development Plan for the city. The cheque was presented on Thursday, 13 August 2026, during a fundraising event organized by the CCMA at the University of Cape Coast. Metropolitan Chief Executive George Justice Arthur presented the cheque to the Coordinating Director of the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly on its behalf.

He stated that CENPOWER's support would significantly contribute to the Assembly's vision of transforming Cape Coast into a redefined city. The Eight-Year Development Plan, which was initiated by the MCE, focuses on various infrastructure aspects, such as roads, water supply, sanitation, health improvements at the Cape Coast Metropolitan Hospital, and education.

The disaster in June 2025, which saw heavy downpours causing building collapses and at least one death, prompted CENPOWER to extend its humanitarian gesture and provide financial support worth GH₵233,180.00.
