Woman police sub-inspector accused of slapping student over road rage incident; she files complaint accusing student of assaulting her

According to the police complaint filed by sub-inspector Nayana D., a heated argument broke out between two men, Hemant and Rahul, near Bhattarahalli Signal on August 12. The incident reportedly occurred around 8:30 a.m. on the Bhattarahalli-K.R. Puram road. Sub-inspector Nayana, on duty in traffic duty, noticed the argument and approached the men.

When she questioned Hemant, he allegedly abused her, grabbed her uniform, and assaulted her. Hemant allegedly called Rahul to the scene, who also misbehaved with her. Both men used abusive and threatening language. Nayana sought medical treatment at K.R. Puram government hospital for the assault and attempted to file a complaint, but Hemant allegedly prevented her from leaving.
