‘Students' future at stake’: CJP seeks re-test after alleged glitches in Bombay HC clerk exam

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke has called for a re-test of the Bombay HC clerk recruitment exam following alleged technical glitches that plagued the examination. Dipke stated that candidates reported issues with malfunctioning mice and faulty keyboards during the test. He claimed that within around 10 minutes, most candidates were logged out and subsequently declared failed.

Dipke described the incident as a "failure of the system and the government" and questioned the authorities' preparedness to conduct online examinations. He alleged that when candidates complained at the examination center, they were told they lacked the "sense" to take an examination properly. Dipke demanded a written assurance from a District Court judge that the examination would be re-conducted on a different set of computers.

He also questioned the continued use of online examinations despite recurring technical failures and asked why online exams are held if the necessary infrastructure cannot support them properly.
