Trump activated Strait of Hormuz potential – Iran

Iranian officials have declared that the military actions launched by the United States under President Donald Trump's orders have brought to light the "God-given geopolitical asset" of the Strait of Hormuz for the Iranian people. General Amir Hatami, the country's Army Chief, emphasized that this vital route will never return to its pre-conflict status, serving as a critical prerequisite for ending the ongoing conflict and preventing future confrontations with Iran.

The top military official stated, "One of the legacies of the U.S. president is the activation of the Strait of Hormuz's potential." He vowed that Iran would prevent the United States from ever entering the Strait of Hormuz, Persian Gulf, and the Sea of Oman. Iran's Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, however, declared that his country has won the war both politically and militarily, despite the U.S. military remaining intact.

Ghalibaf noted that the U.S. and Israel attacked Iran with "nine specific, declared objectives," but have failed to achieve any of the outlined goals. He stated, "This was a defeat for the U.S. and the Zionist regime." Ghalibaf added that the diplomatic agreement reached is a source of pride and a victory on the diplomatic battlefield.
