PKR terus berdaya tahan walau dikhianati, kata Fadhlina

PKR leader Fadhlina Sidek addressed the National Convention of PKR in Malacca today, asserting that the party will remain resilient despite facing numerous betrayals and ongoing occurrences. She forecasts that those within the unity government, who allegedly weaken the party, are secretly collaborating with the opposition Perikatan Nasional (PN) in the recent PRN in Negeri Sembilan.

"We know what is happening around us. We hear all the talk. Today we sit together, tomorrow we discuss with others," she said during the coverage of the 2026 PKR National Convention at the Malacca International Trade Centre. "Today, we must preserve the Madani government; tomorrow, we will hear the slander from our own allies. Flying high at midnight, landing at the crossroads, the right hand invites them to smile, what is the meaning of a knife in the left hand?"

The member of parliament from Nibong Tebal added that PKR has gone through "more dramatic betrayals" referring to the past defection of a former PKR MP contributing to the downfall of the Pakatan Harapan government in 2020. "We have seen a friend become an enemy, but PKR remains. Because the strength of this party does not depend on who sits with us, it depends on our strength in this house.

Those who guard the gates, those who nurture the branches, those who ring the doorbells, those who raise the flags. Those who suffer the most during campaigns, but tomorrow will come again. This is the strength of PKR. Whatever divisions exist elsewhere, we face them. Whatever flags are raised, we will be ashamed."
