Nurul Izzah: I remain committed to same reform spirit since 1998

Despite her future role through a different avenue, her goals remain steadfast: fortifying institutions, safeguarding dignity, and expanding opportunities for Malaysians.

At the 2026 PKR National Congress, Nurul Izzah reiterated these commitments during her winding-up speech. She highlighted the importance of the shared struggle with PKR members, emphasizing that her dedication stems from the same roots as when Keadilan was formed at the tender age of 19 due to the Universities and University Colleges Act (AUKU) preventing her from joining.

Nurul Izzah's journey, marked by loneliness and perseverance, taught her the significance of standing with those who stood by her during the most challenging times. She urged her audience to protect the party and acknowledged the ongoing struggle within the democratic system, which involves various stakeholders, including voters and other centers of power.
