Naqvi comes to CDA chairman, Islamabad IG's defence as they draw flak over carriage video showing 'colonial practice'

Naqvi clarified that the officials had to use the carriage because the chief guest and he were delayed due to a meeting with the prime minister, and they didn't want the public to wait any longer.

Despite Naqvi's clarification, the criticism continued. Former minister Shireen Mazari and digital rights activist Usama Khilji condemned the officials, calling it a "colonial mindset" and "self-humiliation". Journalists like Farzana Ali and Zarrar Khuhro shared their disappointment, questioning the public's reaction and critiquing the officials' behavior.
