E.P. Church secures radio frequency, prepares to launch Bremen Radio

The Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Ghana (EPCG) is set to expand its media presence with the launch of Bremen Radio, a new radio station secured and registered under the Church's name. This move follows the Church's broader efforts to leverage modern communication technologies to reach communities beyond its physical congregations.

During the official opening of the Church's 12th General Assembly in Ho, the outgoing Moderator of the General Assembly, Right Rev. Dr. Lt. Col. Bliss Divine Kofi Agbeko, announced the acquisition of a radio frequency for Bremen Radio. This development, part of the Church's strategic use of technology for ministry, aims to provide an additional platform for the EPCG to bear witness to the Christian faith and contribute to public education.

The station's establishment is seen as a significant step in the Church's modernization, following its adoption of digital platforms for livestreaming worship services, connecting congregations across geographical boundaries, and even conducting an emergency General Assembly online. While the Moderator did not disclose specific details about the radio station, including its transmission location, ownership structure, programming format, launch date, and geographic coverage, Bremen Radio is expected to play a crucial role in the Church's outreach, particularly to those not regularly attending physical congregations.
