DAP’s destiny on the table as Anthony Loke leaves Unity decision to Putrajaya delegates

PUTRAJAYA, Aug 16 — DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke has suggested that the party's fate in the Unity Government should be decided by the 4,000 delegates attending the 2026 DAP Party Conference in Putrajaya, rather than being decided by the Central Executive Committee (CEC). The Transport Minister argued that the major decision should be made collectively by the delegates, given the constraints and weaknesses faced by the party while in government.

Loke made this statement during his policy speech at the party conference at the PICC, where party advisers Lim Guan Eng, Tan Kok Wai, national chairman Gobind Singh Deo, and national deputy chairman Nga Kor Ming were also present.
