Box Office: ‘Spider-Man’ stays on top while two dino movies battle for third

Two distinct dinosaur films vied for third place at the North American box office this weekend, with neither able to dethrone "Spider-Man" from its top spot or claim second place behind "The Odyssey." "Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie" and "The End of Oak Street" faced off against each other, generating modest box office numbers. "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" continued its reign atop the charts, adding $70 million from U.S. and Canadian theaters, bringing its domestic total to $785.8 million and making it the fourth highest domestic release ever.

"The Odyssey" stayed in second place with a $23.2 million weekend, reaching over $1.2 billion globally. "The End of Oak Street" opened strong with $21 million domestically and $47 million globally, while "Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie" exceeded expectations with $20.5 million domestically and $26 million internationally. "Katseye: Wild Hearts" rounded out the top five with $4 million, while other newcomers like "Six: The Musical Live" and "The Rivals of Amziah King" also made their debuts in the top 10.
