Biar Zahid tentukan ketua Umno N Sembilan, kata Jalaluddin

Jalaluddin Alias has accepted the position of Umno Negeri Sembilan chief following a decision made by his president, Zahid Hamidi, according to a report by Berita Harian. During an expedition called "Burning the Red Tail of the Worm at the Sungai Buloh Park in Jelebu," Jalaluddin stated that even if previously in some states the Umno state secretary was not among the chief ministers, the final decision on whether to retain his position or not is the prerogative of the Umno president.

He expressed that they will wait for the president's announcement, whether it will be announced during the Majlis Kerja Tertinggi Umno or at any other suitable time in his opinion. Jalaluddin, among the three potential chief minister candidates from Negeri Sembilan, was presented to the Yang Di Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, by Zahid, the Umno Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman, after facing Tuanku at Istana Hinggap Negeri Sembilan after the PRN results were announced on August 1st.

On August 2nd, Adun Juasseh, Ismail Lasim, took the oath as the new chief minister of Negeri Sembilan following BN's victory in 18 out of the 36 DUN seats contested.
