Anwar launches Temu Fikrah publication at PKR National Congress

KEROH: Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim inaugurated Temu Fikrah, a youth publication from the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), during the organization's 2026 National Congress. Authored by Youth chief Muhammad Kamil Ahmad Munim and executive committee member Ashraf Ahmad Hadi, the 113-page book presents the party's updated perspective on tackling modern issues.

In his introduction, Anwar emphasized the publication's relevance in the context of the Malaysia Madani concept, which serves as the nation's intellectual foundation and strategic direction for governance. He clarified that Temu Fikrah is not merely empty rhetoric or a passing political slogan, but rather a genuine effort to renew civilisation by re-humanising development.

Anwar urged youth members to recognize the weight of their responsibility, describing it as a test of piety and moral integrity, rather than a chance for complacency or a celebration of superficial accomplishments. He stressed that rebuilding a nation plagued by past wrongs demands exceptional creativity, intellectual bravery, and spiritual resilience from the younger generation.

Anwar welcomed the publication as an example of intellectual growth and expressed his hope that it would not just be read, but internalized and applied in practical ways to benefit people at the local level. He noted that the book serves as a vital tool for cadre development, helping members comprehend the history of the struggle, grasp the party's roots and principles, and internalize the significance of Reformasi.

The publication delves into the origins of the Reformasi movement, the formation of PKR, principles of justice, policy frameworks, youth activism, and the virtues of compassion and humanity. It is also meant to guide in nurturing knowledgeable and principled members committed to upholding the party's mission.
