Amirudin sindir parti 3 kali ‘kahwin, cerai’

Amirudin Shari, a prominent figure in the PKR party, has stated that the party must continue to advocate for the politics of justice for all, regardless of ethnicity and religion. Hang Tuah Jaya, the vice president of PKR, mentioned that the party once worked together with the Malay party before it split, but now sees potential for future collaboration.

He noted that the joint efforts between Malay parties occurred in the 1970s and 1990s, with a history of marrying and later divorcing. Amirudin emphasized that the party will not divorce again and will remain united at the PKR 2026 Congress in the Melaka International Trade Centre. Although he did not name any particular parties, the statement is believed to refer to the history of cooperation between Umno and PAS before they went their separate ways.

The recent collaboration between the Perikatan Nasional and Barisan Nasional is seen as a precursor to a possible reunion. Amirudin also pointed out that despite the challenging political developments, PKR can tackle these obstacles with the strength of reformist struggle. He stated that the party must continue to fight for a just politics for all, irrespective of ethnicity and religion.

Amirudin urged PKR members not to get entangled in ethnically-based politics, which could undermine the effort to unite the nation. He emphasized that the reform struggle should continue by strengthening the party's diversity and overcoming racial divides, not just during election periods.
