Amirudin sindir parti 3 kali ‘kahwin, cerai’

Amirudin Shari, a prominent figure in the Perak state government, has declared his willingness to partake in the party's 3rd joint marriage ceremony. As the deputy president of the People's Justice Party (PKR), Shari emphasized the need for PKR to continue advocating for equitable political policies, irrespective of race and religion.

Reflecting on the past, Shari stated that the joint alliances between Malay parties during the 1970s and 1990s were not a novel concept, as they had occurred previously. These alliances, which involved the parties marrying and then parting ways, would be repeated if PKR managed to unite the Perikatan Nasional (PN) and Barisan Nasional (BN) parties at the 2026 PKR Congress in Melaka.

While the identities of the parties involved were not disclosed, the statement is believed to allude to the past cooperation between the United Malays National Organisation (Umno) and the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS). Experts anticipate that these parties will reunite following the mutual understanding between the Perikatan Nasional (PN) and Barisan Nasional (BN), which began with the PRN Negeri Sembilan in late August.

Amirudin Shari further discussed the challenges faced by PKR in the current political landscape. Despite these obstacles, he remains confident that PKR can overcome them through the strength of the reformist struggle. Shari reiterated the party's commitment to championing policies that guarantee justice for all, regardless of race and religion.

Stressing the importance of unity among Malays, Shari cautioned PKR members against becoming ensnared in race-based politics that could undermine the effort to unify the nation. He urged the party to continue the reformist struggle by strengthening the diversity of the party and overcoming racial barriers, not just during elections.
