Aminuddin bertanggungjawab atas kekalahan PKR di Negeri Sembilan

Pengerusi PKR Negeri Sembilan, Aminuddin Harun, has admitted responsibility for the party's defeat in the recent general election, dispelling any notion of escaping accountability or blaming others. Addressing the PKR National Congress, the influential figure, known as "Tok Min," accepted the six demands from his party to step down as the state's leader.

Aminuddin, who previously served as the chief minister of Negeri Sembilan for two terms, admitted to shortcomings and weaknesses in his leadership. He acknowledged that not all his decisions were flawless, and his strategies may not have been successful, and that there were weaknesses in his governance. Aminuddin expressed readiness to accept any decision from the party leadership, emphasizing that the position did not belong to him but belonged to the party.

In the Negeri Sembilan PRN, PKR only won two out of 16 contested seats, while DAP secured nine out of 11 contested seats, and Amanah failed to win any. The Barisan Nasional and Perikatan Nasional won all 25 seats, forming the state government. Aminuddin emphasized that this defeat should serve as a starting point for rebuilding the PKR Negeri Sembilan, including refreshing strategies and strengthening the party's diversity.

He stated that if the party feels the need for any decisions regarding the future of its leadership, he will respect it. If a return to the roots is necessary, they will do so. If he needs to hear more criticism from party members, he is ready to listen. He expressed his willingness to accept the criticism from party members without any hesitation and emphasized that he did not want the PKR Negeri Sembilan to become a party that only emerges during elections.

He wanted the party to always be with the people. When the people face difficulties, they must be with them. Aminuddin also reminded party members to accept the people's decision with an open heart and not to question their choice. He stated that if the people reject them, it is not about why they were not chosen but why they were not chosen.

He stressed that the question they need to answer honestly is not who to blame but how to move forward.
