Yemeni forces destroy Houthi arms depot as Marib hit by missile attack

In the province of Marib, Yemeni government forces launched an assault on Houthi positions and weapons depots, alleging that the group fired three ballistic missiles at densely populated districts. The escalation on the ground saw Yemeni government forces targeting Houthi militia positions, barracks, and arms depots. A Yemeni military source informed Al Hadath TV that government artillery destroyed Houthi barracks and arms depots in the areas of Al-Kasara, Al-Zour, and Al-Mashjah.

Moreover, a Houthi weapons storehouse was reportedly destroyed in the Sirwah area, situated west of Marib. The Yemeni government forces also claimed to have shot down a second Houthi drone over Marib. Al Hadath’s correspondent reported several instances of Houthi missile attacks on Marib neighborhoods, which were crowded with displaced individuals, resulting in casualties.
