#OsunDecides2026: I am not happy at all, Adeleke decries BVAS delays, voter intimidation

Osun State Governor and Accord Party candidate Ademola Adeleke is unhappy with the preliminary reports regarding the ongoing governorship election. He has complained about malfunctioning Bimodal Voter Accreditation System machines and voter intimidation in certain parts of the state. Adeleke spoke on Osun Radio on Saturday, detailing complaints that the BIVAS machines were operating slowly at several polling units.

He also alleged that thugs were disrupting the voting process in Olorunda and Irewole Local Government Areas, specifically accusing man named Enuku and his associates of intimidating voters.

Adeleke expressed frustration with the situation, stating that he was not happy with the current state of affairs. He claimed that voters were turning out to exercise their right to vote but were being delayed by the slow pace of accreditation. He urged INEC to find a solution to the issues with the BIVAS machines and urged his supporters to remain calm, vote, and protect their ballots. In Olorunda, Adeleke specifically criticized the behavior of security personnel, urging his supporters to defend their votes without fear.
