Osun Decides: Fight breaks out as APC running mate arrives Deputy Gov’s polling unit [VIDEO]

A brawl erupted at the polling station of Osun State Deputy Governor and Accord Party candidate, Prince Kola Adewusi, during Saturday's gubernatorial election in Ile-Ife. The incident unfolded when the All Progressives Congress (APC) deputy governorship candidate, Benjamin Kayode Adereti, arrived at Adewusi’s polling unit. It is reported that Adereti had already cast his vote at his allocated polling unit, Waasin Polling Unit 11, Ilaare Ward 3, before heading to Adewusi’s polling station.

Eyewitnesses claim that Adereti's arrival triggered a hostile reaction from some Adewusi supporters present at the polling location, leading to an intense altercation. The previously tranquil atmosphere at the polling venue was briefly disturbed as the supporters exchanged heated words and tensions escalated. As of now, the motive behind Adereti's visit to Adewusi’s polling unit remains unclear.

However, the presence of the APC candidate evidently unsettled a segment of Adewusi’s supporters, prompting the confrontation.
