Osun Decides: Accord Party agent raises alarm as unknown persons monitor, video voters at polling unit

In the Ikire area of Osun State, an Accord Party agent, Ajayi Ayodele, has expressed concern over the invasion of voters' privacy during the ongoing governorship election. Speaking to TVC in a live interview at polling unit 003, Ward 9, Ajayi alleged that unknown individuals from the opposition party were monitoring and filming voters as they cast their ballots.

Accusing the opposition of attempting to manipulate the voting process, Ajayi emphasized that such actions prevent voters from casting their votes for their preferred candidates. He urged security agencies to intervene and ensure a free and fair election, stating, "My name is Ajayi Ayodele. I’m a party agent for the Accord Party. Right here now, the only issue and observation that I’m raising is the issue of other parties looking at the vote of each voter in the box."

Ajayi lamented the presence of non-party agents who were tasked to stay on the sidelines but were instead seen videoing and picturing the voters' choices. "One of them is videoing, picturing whatever people are voting. I don’t know why that is going on," he remarked.
