NPP Central polls: Asemanyi calls for leaders ready to sacrifice

Former Gomoa East MP Kojo Asemanyi, representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Central Region, has called for the election of dedicated and selfless leaders during the ongoing NPP Central Regional elections. Addressing party delegates, Asemanyi emphasized the party's need for strong leaders who can help reclaim power in the 2028 general elections, following the loss of 19 parliamentary seats in the region.

He stressed that the NPP must select regional leaders who are committed to serving the party and willing to collaborate closely with grassroots members. According to Asemanyi, competent leaders are essential to strengthen party structures at every polling station, ensuring a steadfast effort towards victory in 2028. He urged delegates to prioritize the party's interests over personal considerations and vote for individuals with the necessary competence, commitment, and determination to rebuild the NPP in the Central Region.

Asemanyi stressed that only leaders driven by a selfless dedication to the party's success can restore the NPP's confidence among voters and recover its political fortunes ahead of the 2028 elections. Oti NPP delegates were urged to elect capable leaders to secure the party's victory in the upcoming general elections.
