Lebanese singer Laura Khalil’s husband dies in electrocution accident in Ghana

Beirut: Lebanese singer Laura Khalil's husband, Engineer Najib Akiki, tragically died in an electrocution accident while in Ghana. The incident occurred when a water leak came into contact with an electrical source, causing Akiki to receive a fatal shock. Despite Akiki not having any known health issues prior to the accident, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Khalil learned of her husband's death while he was away, transforming a work-related trip into a heartbreaking personal loss. The couple had been married for approximately 20 years and had three children. Akiki largely kept his personal life private, even during his marriage to the famous singer.
