My marriage… With Alhaji Nurudeen Adebule

Nurudeen Adebule Gbadegesin, a native of Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, is a visual artist, comedian and master of ceremonies. He is currently the studio manager of Ogun State Television, Abeokuta and presents two weekly programmes. His first marriage lasted 25 years before they parted ways, and he later remarried. They will celebrate four years of marriage on August 14, 2026.

They met in front of the Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta, six years ago and got married on a fateful Friday afternoon. Nurudeen proposed to his wife on her birthday during a surprise celebration with friends. Her parents initially rejected his proposal due to his children from his first marriage, but they eventually became convinced of their love and intentions.

They have eight children in total. Nurudeen advises couples to make God the head of their home, avoid interference from third parties, maintain transparency, communication, understanding and trust in their relationship. He believes marriages break up due to inadequate preparation and lack of proper understanding between partners.
