Blue Jays put six-time All-Star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. on 7-day IL because of concussion symptoms

The Toronto Blue Jays placed six-time All-Star Vladimir Guerrero Jr. on the seven-day IL on Saturday due to concussion symptoms and called up outfielder Daz Cameron from Triple-A Buffalo. Guerrero left Friday's victory over the Yankees following a collision with New York rookie shortstop George Lombard Jr. at third base in the sixth inning.

Lombard tried to leap over a sliding Guerrero, and their collision resulted in Guerrero's helmet being dislodged. Guerrero returned to score the tying run but was seen as dazed after crossing the plate. Manager John Schneider noted that Guerrero had a minor headache after Friday's game. Guerrero has a .263 batting average with seven home runs and 46 RBIs for the season.
