Ureña pitches Angels past Rangers 7-0 as Trout and Guzman lead offense with 3 hits apiece

Anaheim, Calif. (AP) — The Los Angeles Angels triumphed over the Texas Rangers 7-0 on Thursday night, as rookie pitcher Walbert Ureña suppressed his team to two hits over six innings. Star players Mike Trout and Denzer Guzman were instrumental in the Angels' offensive outburst, tallying three hits each, including RBIs. Josh Lowe contributed two hits and two RBIs, while Adam Frazier added two hits and an RBI.

The Angels extended their win streak to three games and achieved the first ten-hit game since July 8. Ureña (8-8) struck out five, walked two, and lowered his ERA to 2.67. The Angels secured the victory with contributions from José Fermin, Tayler Saucedo, and Sammy Peralta, who each pitched a perfect inning.
