Comedian Kang Yu-mi candidly talks about her brief marriage

Comedian Kang Yu-mi shared intimate details about her short-lived marriage during a segment on the MBC variety show Where Is My Home? The broadcast, which aired on August 13, featured Kang alongside comedians Hong In-gyu and Jang Dong-min as they toured homes suitable for families with children.

During the episode, Hong In-gyu, who had been married for 14 years, recounted his own marital journey. He began living with his wife in a rental with no deposit and a monthly rent of 500,000 won ($350). Over time, he moved to different apartments, facing varying deposit requirements, from 1 million won and a 500,000 won monthly rent to eventually purchasing a home with a 3 million won deposit and 300,000 won monthly rent.

When Hong mentioned that he had been frequently moved out of his room as his eldest child entered third grade, Jang Dong-min inquired of Kang Yu-mi, "Do you remember what it was like when you were married?" Kang responded briefly, acknowledging her past marriage with a smile that elicited laughter from the show's cast.
