Tiada had masa cuti Nurul Izzah, kata SUA PKR

Fuziah Salleh, the General Secretary of PKR, stated that the decision not to set a limit on Nurul Izzah Anwar's holiday time allows her to determine her own schedule following the PKR National Congress. Fuziah elaborated that this decision gives Nurul Izzah the freedom to determine her holiday time after the PKR National Congress in 2026 before resuming her party duties.

According to Fuziah, Nurul Izzah must complete all assignments related to the PKR Youth, Women, and National Congress before taking her holiday. "The acting president will take her holiday after completing tasks during the congress, meaning the PKR Youth, Women, and then the national congress. After that, the acting president will take her holiday," she said at a media briefing at the Multi-purpose Trade and Convention Centre (MITC) in Melaka.

However, Fuziah also noted that Nurul Izzah needs to finish all assignments related to the PKR Youth, Women, and National Congress before taking her holiday. "The acting president will take her holiday after completing tasks during the congress, meaning the PKR Youth, Women, and then the national congress. After that, the acting president will take her holiday," she added.

On August 6th, Nurul Izzah, a former Permatang Pauh MP, announced her intention to take a holiday from her duties as acting president after the party's national congress. PKR Head of Public Relations, Fahmi Fadzil, had previously said that Nurul Izzah initially requested to resign completely, but the Central Leadership Council (CLC) decided she only needed a break from that role.

Fahmi also announced that PKR Deputy President Saifuddin Nasution Ismail would assume the acting president's duties during Nurul Izzah's absence, while another Deputy President, Amirudin Shari, would fully assume the responsibilities of the PKR election commissioner, a role previously held jointly by Saifuddin.
